When using Humio, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including
but not limited to the following:
• Read all instructions before use.
• Inspect Humio for any visible damage to the power cord or motor base.
• Do not operate Humio with a damaged cord/plug or if Humio is damaged in any manner.
• Always set Humio on a firm, flat, level surface.
• To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the electric cord, plug, or
motor base in water or other liquid.
• To prevent the cord from being damaged, keep the cord away from heated surfaces and
out of the way from high traffic areas where it can be tripped on or tripped over.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before
cleaning.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• To avoid the risk of fire, shock or personal injury, do not use an extension cord.
• Using distilled water with Humio reduces mineral deposits and scale build up. If you begin
to notice “white dust” immediately stop use of the machine and clean thoroughly. Please
refer to proper care, cleaning and maintenance section of this manual. Failure to keep
the unit clean from mineral deposits normally contained in any water will affect the unit’s
performance and any failure to follow these instructions may void the warranty.
• Do not operate Humio without water. Turn off Humio when the water tank is empty.
• A red blinking light indicates a malfunction has occurred or the water tank is empty.
To reset the unit, turn the unit off, unplug, and correct the problem. After correcting the
problem, safely plug in the unit and turn on.
• Do not overfill the water tank.
• This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) for safety reasons.
This plug will fit only into a polarized outlet and only fit in one way. If the plug does not fully
fit into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, do not attempt to modify the plug.
Contact a qualified electrician.

ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier
With Humio, when used as a humidifier, you can choose between two levels of humidity
- high and low. The ultrasonic sound vibrations, created by a metal diaphragm vibrating
at an ultrasonic frequency, adjusts to silently release moisture into the air providing quiet
operation, optimum convenience and unsurpassed air quality.
360° Rotating Mist Outlet – A rotating nozzle designed to easily change the direction of the mist -
covers between 80-100 square feet.
Neck Handle - Unscrews for easier cleaning and can be used as a handle when transporting the
water tank for refills.
Half Gallon Water Tank – Approx. stores up to 2L (.5 gal) of distilled or purified water for up to 10
hours of use per tank.
Cleaning Brush – Neatly nested in the base for simple storage. Use to clean Humio as needed.
Positioning Points – Identifies the correct position where the water tanks rests on the base.
Easy Push Button Controls – Adjust Humio to your desired setting with the touch of a button.
Each function can operate independently and can be used simultaneously.
lED Technology – Humio is also equipped with the latest LED lighting technology designed to offer
a soft array of colors without generating heat. Aside from acting as an indicator light when the water
tank is empty, the LED lights rotate between shades of red, green and blue offering you a soothing
display of colors to enjoy and relax to. With the touch of a button, you can set Humio to your favorite
color. When comparing LED technology to traditional incandescent style lights which use a brittle metal
filament that is susceptible to shock and vibration, light emitting diodes are solid state devices with no
moving parts which utilize an encapsulated electronic chip offering durability and longevity.
Energy Efficient – LED lights use up to 90% less power than incandescent light bulbs.
Heat Resistant – LED lights do not generate any heat and are cool to the touch and can be left on
for hours without incident.
long lasting – LED lights last 30 times longer than traditional incandescent light bulbs and are
rated to last for 100,000 hours providing you with years of night light service.
added Décor – By setting the LED lights to your favorite shade of red, green, or blue, you can match
Humio to any room’s décor.
aromatic Oils with Humio – Humio is now ready for use with Aromatic Oils, offering you complete
comfort and overall well-being. Humio is now designed to include an essential oil compartment with an
oil absorbing sponge. Add your favorite essential oils to the oil sponge, slide the oil compartment into
